Site requirements before we measure and install
This is where most glass delays actually come from.
Before we field-measure:
- Walls, curb, and pan must be finished and tiled. We measure the finished surface, not the framing.
- Waterproofing and any pan slope must be complete and cured.
- Walls should be plumb and surfaces flat within normal tile tolerance. Custom glass can absorb a little variation, not a lot. If a wall is out, tell us early and we'll engineer around it instead of discovering it at install.
- Blocking behind the tile for railings, heavy doors, and header supports needs to be in place before the tile goes on.
- Power and access to the work area.

Standard stock glass and hardware: 10-12 business days from approved measure to install.
Custom sizes, specialty hardware, and non-stock finishes: 6–12 weeks.
Aluminum storefront with custom finish or oversized units: 4–8 weeks.
We’ll confirm your dates in writing and tell you the moment anything moves. You will not find out from your client.
Coordinating with your other trades
